Busy, Busy, Busy...

I have been extremely busy this month! We have begun our homeschooling adventure for year 7 now...it is hard to believe it has been so many years already! I have also been working hard on some of my swap commitments. Here are the results: 5 Ribbon Flowers on cards with digital artwork 1 Tiny Artist's Kit to replace the one my dog chewed so happily & 2 Double-sided pages for a fabric book swap I am in
Enjoy! I wish I had time to be more poetic today, but I still have many swaps to work on and some other business to attend to...so until next time, I will bid you adieu!

Royal Treat Cone for a Special Masquerade Party

Marie Antoinette Mail Art is hosting a lovely Masquerade Ball. This is one of the "favors" I will be trading at the "Treat Bag Swap" dance. It is a cone covered in beautiful old gold paper with foil and crepe paper ruffles. It is accented with glitter, glittery sheer ribbon and paper flowers. The inside is filled with all kinds of trims in reds, golds and blacks.

Another Fabulous Dress Design by Rose Bertin

Mme. Bertin has been to Versailles once again. This time, she showed the Queen this luscious confection of lime and teal. The Queen squealed in delight, ordering that it be immediately sewn for her alone. I wonder what Mme. Bertin will come up with next???? This piece is a double-sided fabric book page. It has many vintage elements and is all hand sewn. The ribbon flower piece is an example of my ribbon art work.

Masquerade

Ahhhh...the Queen needed a new mask for her upcoming Bal de Masquerade. This one is hand crafted of paper clay, watercolors, pearl ex. and glitter glue. The darling velvet flowers are vintage, as is the FLOCKED rosebud teal cotton ruffle! and, the crowning touch, she has a dear fake mole made of a vintage moonstone gem. Won't she make a stunning entrance in pink and teal?
