I am being tutored in Fashion Illustration. After 4 weeks, I finally attempted a watercolor illustration. For this one, I traveled to fairyland to be a guest at the annual Fairy Fashion Fete...hosted by the forest dryads this year. The first costume I gazed upon was this lovely Maidenhair evening gown made of gossamer spider silk dyed with moss dyes and beaded with a fern motif. The shoulder has a stand up beaded fern ornament. Just in time for dancing amongst the morels in spring!
Last night I visited Candy Land and the Queen sent me home this morning with the gorgeous little candy cup basket! Isn't it perfect for hiding your secret stash of chocolate? I think it needs a few Godiva truffles..raspberry filled starfish...or Thornton's Continentals! Mmmm.... This was handcrafted by the Queen in vintage and new materials. She mostly used the Paris kit available on Birds of a Feather at Etsy! She makes such YUMMY crepe paper ruffles!
