Forays into Fairyland

I am being tutored in Fashion Illustration. After 4 weeks, I finally attempted a watercolor illustration. For this one, I traveled to fairyland to be a guest at the annual Fairy Fashion Fete...hosted by the forest dryads this year. The first costume I gazed upon was this lovely Maidenhair evening gown made of gossamer spider silk dyed with moss dyes and beaded with a fern motif. The shoulder has a stand up beaded fern ornament. Just in time for dancing amongst the morels in spring!

lovely! I hope everybody clicks on the image so that it will enlarge and allow a more clear viewing!

I'm especially fond of that background on the right side - very mystical and magical looking.

Good on you!
