Recent Artistic Journeys

I know it has been awhile, but lately I have been immersed and obsessed with a Halloween altered book project. It is an art project for just me, which is rare. It involves altered art, digital art, and creative writing, so it is taking a HUGE amount of time. I have found some time to work on some more Marie art. Below you will see a better picture of my Marie Angel, thanks to natural light. Also, I have taken pics of the two pages I worked on for Deborah or Land of Nod Studios. This is for her altered Marie Antoinette book, for the round robin we are in.
The paper dolls go into a pocket hidden by the ribbon work, on the opposite page. The theater stands out a bit from the page.

Marie The Snow Angel

Ahhhhh...here is our sweet Marie adorned as the Queen of Snowflakes. She is off to work her magic at the annual Winter gala. Won't she stun her loyal courtiers?

The Queen's Autumn Theatre Debut

Yesterday, my journeys to the Petit Trianon rewarded me with a debut performance of the Queen in her new Autumn Theater. She was performing in an operaetta entitle The Gay Coquette. What a fitting title for a felicitous flirt! She was quite beautiful in her mint and pink gown, dancing her way through the cool autumn evening.

More Marie Artifacts

As I was walking about Versailles last night, I came across this magical Scepter and this glorious cake illustration. I wonder what the Queen is up to with cake and scepters? Maybe she was trying to make the cake appear for her latest soiree....or maybe she was conjuring up some wonderful new fete. It is the season of magic and wonder!

The Queen of Hearts Strikes Again!

Here is my final tag for the Queen of Hearts Tag swap. All of the tags are EXACTLY the same, so I am only showing one here. This one features a movable wheel that helps the Queen decide who will lose their head today. I am glad the other tags were not right as it lead to more creative thought and these wonderful tags! I hope all the players love them! The first picture shows the front of the tag and the second picture shows the back of the tag.

And Another One

The possibilities are endless! And I don't even have a mask tool in Elements.
