Altered Faux Roses
I thought these turned out beautiful, and they were soooo simple! I just cut about 6 petal shaped pieces from vintage paper items, inked the edges and then glued them in place. Then, I tipped the edges of the rose petals and covered the plastic sepals with glitter. These are so pretty and would be gorgeous in a bouquet, if left on their stems.

WOW! These are absolutely stunning! Your blog and art are beautiful, and I think that yours may be the prettiest banner I have seen. Wonderful work! Thank you too for your kind comments about my blog and well wishes for a future adoption. It is so nice to meet you in this way, Kristin :)
These are gorgeous! I would love to learn how to do this. I would have these little pretties everywhere! Thanks for sharing! xoxo Rhonda...
Very gorgeous! Does the paper have to be pretty stiff? Or can you use tissue paper too? I'll have to try these sometime.
